Avalon Alliance

Currently unofficial lore, and in progress.The Avalon Alliance is the successor to the Illuminate Republic, having been formed at the same time as the Solakkian Union. Its government and culture is identical to that of the republic, with the only thing having changed being the nation’s name. This was done to complete the transition to an avali space overseen by the Solakkian Union and to hopefully prevent future governments on Avalon from having a legal basis to re-assert old claims over currently ceded territories in interstellar space.

As a result, the Avalon Alliance is also the first large government on Avalon to have dropped the "Illuminate" name from its formal title.

Unlike the wide-reaching Illuminate Republic, the Alliance only lays claim to the star systems of Solakku, Crest and Amber Light, having ceded all worlds gained during later stages of The Expansion, all of which had formed their own independent states part of the Solakkian Union, or joined an existing nation.

Government and Politics

The Avalon Alliance has completely inherited the Government of the Illuminate Republic, down to the same regional governances in the controlled systems, and tribes and unions. Only the United Colonies Coalition union can no longer be found in the new government, having considered their mission fulfilled. Tribe Hathol has seen a surge in popularity in their stead, continuing the UCC’s popular social policies.
