Elevo

Elevo is a type of stone found on northern avalon which has a blue, UV-like luminescent glow that gives off a faint light without needing any kind of fuel. While elevo is not particularly sparse in the geological makeup of the north side of the planet, locating it at all and mining for it in non-destructive ways are both particularly challenging.

Use and Relevance

Elevo is primarily used as a light source for northern tribes who struggle to maintain light during dark periods due to power delivery constraints. It is also often sought after to create glowing cosmetics that don't require power to keep going - significantly reducing the complexity.

Cultural Significance

As the acquisition and use of elevo is deeply intertwined with most tribes in the north, northern avali often give a level of reverence to it.
